CROSSED PATHS is an episodic interview podcast that uncovers the unique stories of amazing humans that have made an indelible impact on our world- near and far. Join serial globetrotter and people connector Stephen Dorsey as he engages in insightful conversations with notable artists, musicians, politicians, professional athletes, entrepreneurs, film makers, business and community leaders - interesting and accomplished individuals he’s CROSSED PATHS with and formed lasting relationships with over the past five decades here in Canada, and around the world.

The series delves into the life journey of each guest - their formative years, the twist and turns that led them to their life’s passion, their eventual success and the impact they’ve made on their community. AND of course, the insider stories of where, when and how they CROSSED PATHS with our hosts.  Revealing, insightful and inspirational with just the right touch of humour.

Stephen Dorsey has had an adventurous life. Driven by a genuine desire to make meaningful connections, Stephen has engaged with 10,000 of thousands of interesting individuals over the past five decades. He’s come away enriched by these experiences, and many of the people he’s crossed path with have contributed to shaping and influencing the person he is today. Stephen has travelled extensively around the world - having lived and worked in the USA, Spain, Australia, Jamaica, Brazil and in many cities across Canada including Montreal, Victoria, Vancouver, Whistler and in Toronto where he resides today.

Stephen is an entrepreneur who by his own count has held nearly 70-types of jobs in a career that started when he was 10-years old - each role giving him an added perspective on the world around him. Politicized was conceived to be a disruptive voice- an attempted resistance to Doug Ford’s (brother of the crack mayor of Toronto) populist juggernaut during the 2018 Ontario provincial election that eventually saw him unseat a very unpopular incumbent in Premier Kathleen Wynn.

Politicized shown a light on the many false promises of Doug Ford’s populist message that promoted a culture of us against them, and was fraught with the liberal use of alt-facts. Politicized was not a blind partisan podcast. We also challenged our own tribe (centre-left progressives) and tried to keep them honest by challenging them especially when they fell back on their habitual political doublespeak. We sprinkled in some lessons on civics, fact-checked where needed, sprinkled in some comedy and had the opportunity to have stimulating conversations with interesting political and non-political guests.
