Black and White is a limited series by Evergreen Podcasts, hosted by the author of Black and White, Stephen Dorsey. Exploring the reckoning of our times around systemic racism and inequality, each episode finds Stephen in conversation with insightful and inspiring guests from the world of business, politics, social justice, entertainment, journalism, and academia. Stephen delves deeper into the realities of "White Advantage", Canada's Mythology on Race, Discrimination of Indigenous people, Justice System Reform, and more - all with hopeful optimism and a unique multicultural perspective on the paths to change.

About the Host

Stephen Dorsey is the Canadian-born author of "Black and White" to be released in North America in February 2022 by Nimbus Publishing. He is the principal of The Fractional CMO, a strategic management consultancy, and of Dorsey Studios, a content production development company. Stephen is also a founding member of Democracy House- a grassroots organization and movement dedicated to preserving and strengthening liberal democratic ideals. For more than 30-years, Stephen’s personal and professional passions have taken him around the world where he has engaged with Fortune 1000 organizations and met amazing people of all backgrounds. Today, he and his two young children call Toronto home.

Politicized was conceived to be a disruptive voice- an attempted resistance to Doug Ford’s (brother of the crack mayor of Toronto) populist juggernaut during the 2018 Ontario provincial election that eventually saw him unseat a very unpopular incumbent in Premier Kathleen Wynn.

Politicized shown a light on the many false promises of Doug Ford’s populist message that promoted a culture of us against them, and was fraught with the liberal use of alt-facts. Politicized was not a blind partisan podcast. We also challenged our own tribe (centre-left progressives) and tried to keep them honest by challenging them especially when they fell back on their habitual political doublespeak. We sprinkled in some lessons on civics, fact-checked where needed, sprinkled in some comedy and had the opportunity to have stimulating conversations with interesting political and non-political guests.
